Searchable documentation

Ask your existing documentation a precise question.

Organize standards, manuals, spreadsheets, checklists, and project information so your team can query them and trace answers back to the source.

The method

Search is useful only when the answer can be checked.

  1. 01

    Prepare

Identify useful sources, access boundaries, versions, and ownership.

  2. 02

    Query

Ask questions in the language your team uses and return the relevant source passage.

  3. 03

    Review

Let a person check context, assumptions, and whether the source is current.

  4. 04

    Act

Connect approved answers to bounded checks or tasks only where it is appropriate.

Important boundary

Queryable does not mean unquestionably correct.

Documents may conflict, omit context, or become outdated. The system should expose its sources and limitations so a responsible person can decide what follows.
